Best Final days JEE Preparation Tricks - JEE in 20 days

Hey Everyone! I hope your preparations are going well for the April JEE MAIN Session. Without wasting much time, I will cover the top tricks you should follow during the last preparation days of your JEE Exam.

Lets Start.

1) DON'T PICK UP ANY NEW TOPIC - Yes, you read that right. Don't pick anything new. This is the time you are surrounded by a lot of confusions and that's not an issue but JEE MAIN exam is all about your knowledge about the topic or a subject. So, this is actually the time to revise whatever you already know. It is recommended from my side to not top pick something you have never studied. So, pick up the 3 subjects that you have, make a time table ( How to make a perfect Time Table ) and start brushing up the topics but don't pick anything new!

2) PRIORITIZE THE TOPICS - Now you know what not to study. But then what to study? Go through the previous year papers and see which topics can be prioritized and are asked more in the exams. You can see my analysis of the JEE March Attempt in which I have categorized questions depending on the topics. Make the time table keeping the important topics in mind.

3) STOP PROCRASTINATING - Suppose you have decided that these are the topics that you will be doing for the revision before the exams. Now don't procrastinate over them. Don't work as if you have 15-20 days before the exam, so you'll take the whole time doing them. Instead, think like you have the exam in 2 days and you have to study in a way you can get the max out of yourself. This will give you push to go beyond your limits. For example - if you think that you will do the work in 20 days, you have to study 5 hours a day to complete it but if you have something like I have to cover this up in 2 or 3 days. You'll go on to study for maybe 12-14 hours a day, just to complete your goal. Then you will have extra days for more and more revision.

4) PRACTICE THE QUESTION PAPERS - May be you have studied a lot from the books and the coaching material provided by your coaching institute but if you haven't practiced the questions from the past year question papers, your preparation is incomplete. The papers give you an idea about what is actually necessary and what're the irrelevnt things on which you have been wasting your time and efforts. Don't rush towards new books and material now, instead go through the question papers. It will benefit you more and then practice the type of questions asked in previous years papers.

5) FOCUS ON YOURSELF - Stop the habit of enquiring about how much your friends have covered up and just focus on your preparation. Stay away from negativity. In the end it's you who have to attempt the exam and not the people aroun you. Be calm and just stay focussed. Reach your goals on time, have a free mind. Don't brood over what will happen on that day or am I well prepared. You are preparted and are just getting better with the passing days; this should be the thought in your mind.

So, these are tips that I wanted to share with you!
